I don’t anticipate that there will be too many of these, other than fellow demons and scum of the earth sorts. He is willing to be friends with anyone, so long as he gets something out of it in return, be it money, power, or something of material value. He could give two shits about what it is, he doesn’t really care. It’s the fact that someone is willing to fork over something to be his friend. He thinks it’s a sign they “care”, or could be it’s a sign they won’t screw him over. Friends can also come in the form of customers, which there are bound to be plenty of those.
Angels and anyone who wants good to happen to them in this world are bound to be up on the tippity top of this list. If you want to piss him off, this is the spot for you. Cops also rank pretty high on this list. At least the ones that are all high and mighty, righteous assholes.
Kaegan isn’t one for commitment, but he loves a good lay now and again. He’ll keep your number, call you at all hours of the night for a screw, but don’t expect him to get attached. You have your own life, after all, and so does he. He has a final planned out, but past lovers and flings are always welcome. Flings, of course, only until he isn’t single anymore.
Fellow witches, anyone with a mental condition, and all others that might be friend material go here. He’s an easy guy to get along with. Mellow, laid back, and funny, he’ll be sure to make you laugh with his fire displays or feats of telekinetic energy. He's quiet when you first meet him, but he'll drop his boundaries and let you in once he gets to know you a bit.
I simply can’t imagine that there would be anyone that would hate Xander – but there are bound to be some. People who hate witches, people that have hatred towards others with mental conditions, and the general scum of the city. Also, people who hate books or school might also go here. Doesn’t mean he won’t talk to you though.
Although he prefers women at his core, Xander is curious about men. He’s never tried anything with a male, so be kind guys. I kind of want him to have some kind of interaction with another male of a sexual nature. Doesn’t have to be sex specifically, making out would do just fine. He has a wanted up for a final, so any past relationships or one night stands are welcome, until he is no longer single.
Roland is a friendly sort of guy, coupled with a heart of gold deep beneath his tough exterior. He is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to help out anyone in need, often giving up what he has to help them out. He can be a hard man to read, and doesn't show his emotions like you or I do. Above all else, Roland desires to be civil with people.
This is a hard area, seeing as how he doesn't have many enemies outside of the fae realm. But there is a possibility here, especially if Fae aren't your cup of tea. Maybe he got you thrown out of Bottom's Up. Maybe you laid a hand on Talia Rosario. The possibilities are there.
Oh you conniving little minx, I knew you wanted to love him! At the end of the day all he can ask for is that there is someone who is willing to put up with his antics, his drinking and his constant need to be on the move. Not necessarily leaving the state or even the city, just needing to keep himself moving. He gets restless, and sometimes he gets restless being in the same relationship for too long. If he really cares and loves you, he's here to stay. Love runs deep for the centaur, and he’ll be devoted to anyone who wants to be with him. I am going to say this will change as I have plans for him a bit further down the road as he’ll no longer be single. But past stuff, throw it at me man.
Harley tries to be real with everyone she meets. If she likes you, she'll let you know. If not, well, she'll try to be nice anyway because that is the type of person she is. She's not one to hold grudges easily, so if she has one against someone, it's for a damn good reason. She's never fake, and always true to herself. She's loyal to a fault, always putting others before herself if humanly possible. She prides herself living in a pard, and treats each member like family, so if you're in her pard, she'll be your friend. No questions asked. She likes to have fun, party sometimes, and is a loving person deep down. She generally loves people, so just strike up a conversation with her and see where it gets you.
Anyone wishing to do the pard harm, anyone who was there the morning of the attack on her former pard. People who talk in the theater, rude people... anyone who doesn't see eye to eye with her or her species. She hates people who label someone a stereotype. In all seriousness, she is friendly with anyone and everyone, so there isn't likely to be many in this category. She hasn't really met anyone who she'd label as an enemy, other than the villagers who attacked her pard that one morning.
Love for everyone! She has a final planned, but that may change here in the future. We’ll see what happens.
Lawrence is a really devoted friend, and would drop everything to help those that mean a lot to him. Fellow vampires from his nest are most likely to be here. Anyone who is of higher class, although he is not above mingling with the muck and villainy of the lower class. Someone he’s helped would be one of these people more than likely, and would be here as well. Once he’s helped you, you’re in his book for life. That is, until you cross him. Co-workers, too, would more than likely fit here.
Shifters, although not all. The common rabble found in the city, people who lie, steal and kill for no other reason than just to do so. He omits vampires from this, by the way, because it’s in their nature to kill.
Lovers, hmm. He’s bound to have a few in his past, maybe a couple steady girlfriends. Unless he is really in love, that is. Once he finds that right girl, he’s hers for as long as she is willing to have him near her.
Bram doesn't really do the whole friend thing, unless it's beneficial for him in some way. And unless you are a person he got high or drunk with that one time. He won't say it outright, but he'll use the crap out of the people he does get close to. Other than that, he's bound to know quite a few people through his work, and in the illegal fight ring where he spends quite a bit of time.
Probably a few – some who didn’t like his attitude when he was serving them behind the bar at the strip club Bottom’s Up; bound to be some angst in the ring, too.
A lot, let's be honest here. There is probably a little black book of names in his pocket at any given moment filled with girl's names that he could call up. He's a player, to put it bluntly, moving on from one girl to the next as though they are little more than tools to be used. If the rare thing happens that he actually likes one of them, he'll stay around for longer, but don't expect any commitment out of him. That being said, if there is a girl out there that thinks she can handle him and you play her, we can talk.
Business associates, members of Heaven, and souls he watches over would probably be the likeliest candidates for this spot. Students and co-workers would be the next likely. His door is almost always open for anyone wanting to talk with him, although he often asks if Heavenly business can be discussed elsewhere and not on campus.
Enemies of Heaven, aka demons in all forms. Unless given a reason to strike, he won't smite someone just for being a demon. They have to give him just cause, which includes wronging or harming a pure soul. Oh and students who thought their end of the semester grade was unfair or something would fit here, too.
He's had a few of them in the past, but does an angelic robot even know how to love? Jury's still out on that one, but he's open for relationship plots, past or present.
Anyone who has ties with the Black Market fall into this category, and also unseelie court members. Have a wendigo or kelpie? Be sure to visit his shop in town to supply yourself with all the fleshy giblets you'll need! He's been known to make friends with his customers. Not entirely too hard to get on his good side, so long as you talk about meat, even your run of the mill meats that he also sells. If you can get passed the fact that he eats mortals and the mask that he wears, you'll see the truer side of him which is cold, calculating, and he doesn't really act on any good emotions. One thing, though, money is a big driver for him. Wave some green in his face and he's yours for the night.
Probably a few, witches being at the tippy top of that list. Now I am not saying he won't interact with a witch, but you can bet it's bound to be a sticky situation for them both. He was captured by a witch a long time ago and kept prisoner for fifty some odd years, so you can bet he's going to have a grudge against them. He doesn't particularly care for the seelie court, but it really depends on the person. He's met some real goody two shoes in his life, and he really just /hardpass on them completely. Oh and cops... cops are bound to be on this list too, always sneaking around his shop and trying to dig up dirt on him. Luckily, though, his ties with the black market keep him pretty well protected. And all he really has to do to get them to go away is pass some money their direction.
He has taken a few lovers in his life, though relationships lasting beyond a year aren't really his style. He's good for a booty call if you just want to get laid. And he's not too particular on where he does it, just as long as he gets it. He's not a touchy feely kind of guy, and doesn't really do relationships... for him there has to be sex involved. He hates playing with emotions, and therefore, hates being played himself. He'll toy with you for a while, some little distraction to snatch his attention, and then he'll move on to the next girl. Sorry guys. He is a staunch heterosexual, so if you really want him to get in your pants, you'd better be mortal and willing to lose your life.
Alaric is a properly disorganized bundle of mess, but you gotta love him for it because he does try. He’s a little scatterbrained, has problems keeping appointments (or dates for that matter) and is just trying to make the best out of a bad situation most days. Was in prison in the 80’s and that tends to turn people the other direction – but you don’t have to know the bad because there is a lot and you’d need a notepad to keep up. For friendship, it’s merely a matter of picking him out of a crowd and chatting with him. Get to know him, and he won’t see a reason why you two can’t be friends. If he becomes your friend, he’s one for life – unless you get bored or annoyed with his constant disorganization and scatterbrained-ness. He drinks and smokes, and he’s a likely drinking partner because he doesn’t get violent when he drinks. He’s just a happy, fun, and lovable cuddly puppy – so friend him AF.
Anyone who is from his exes family would fall under here, seeing as how they are mostly hunters. Other hunters, too, no matter the humanoid game they hunt. As far as game is concerned, he is an avid hunter, also applies while he is in wolf form. So people who are against that type of hunting would rub him the wrong way, probably – unless he knows nothing about it, he’ll be a good person to talk to. His biggest peeve has to be vampires by far, mainly because his daughter was kidnapped by two of them and turned. Because of that little tidbit alone, he has a major issue with vampires – from being in the same room with them or down the street from them and everything in between. Now, people who have known him for a while before becoming a vampire might have a different effect on him. Could be he’s confused or upset and not violent at first or if at all.
Ric has been married twice in his life, and thus far, all it has brought him is heartache. But that is not to say that he won’t pursue it again. Hearts need healing, and his is too recently burned and marred for him to fall too hard or two fast. Still, he is a wolf that loves love, everything from the being in to the falling. And when you get right down to it, Ric is a romantic at heart. He loves to woo the ladies (or men, let’s be honest here) with everything from movies to candy to a card left with a bunch of flowers at her door. Dinners, dancing, and yes, even frolicking through the woods or on the beach. Gushy stuff that other men might be too ‘manly’ or whatever to do with/for another person. And if a one night stand is more your style, he’ll oblige, and keep your number for any “stress relief” you might need to do in the future. But there is that risk he might get a teensy bit – not really possessive, but protective over that person? Could be fun, don’t get me wrong – and I am up for any angst in his life.
Note: Ric has been a father in the past, and is one currently. Anything that serious will have to be thought out by both players. Past relationships are welcome, and so are present ones. I am open for making his life miserable, in any way, shape or form. Hah. But honestly, can we have more happy? Please?
Garrett is an actor that throws a lot of parties and potentially will have a lot of friends. He’s outwardly friendly; but it comes down to the kinds of emotions he feeds on. If he feeds on a certain kind for too long, he’ll begin to exhibit that kind of emotion. Just something he has noticed over the years. Some days it’s better than others, but he still gets that occasionally.
Might have a thing against vampires, seeing as how they might want to nibble on him a little. This is a hard section; he's easily likable - although he does have a bit of a temper that when prompted can get him to be not so likable.
Okay so this section is a little difficult. I do have plans for him to have a special someone, so we’ll say past things are accepted. He’s been in town for a while so he could have easily had some past, semi-long term lovers, depending how serious they get to be. Outwardly he is naturally flirty, but it takes some time for him to get close to anyone. Romantically he tries to keep himself as closed off as possible – but one night stands and the like will very rarely be turned down. At least, until he starts seeing someone on a long term basis.
So, I am not anticipating there to be a ton of these. Mostly there will be people who he considers allies like fellow demons, customers, and the like. Friendships/relationships through business. Other than that, if you think you can weasel your way into his circle, be prepared to buy his affections or at least be willing to part with something you have – like your soul, for instance. This circle will be small, and the chains loose – he’ll cut you out as soon as look at you if you do him wrong, and then you’ll fall into the below category. But don’t worry right? Right.
This will be a much larger circle, consisting of people who look at him the wrong way, talk in the theater, that kind of thing. What gets on his nerve the most is when people betray him. Like, God, he’s the one that is supposed to be doing the back stabbing! Like UGH.
But if you need an enemy that badly, we’ll see to it that your character has one. Be advised it might be either a loose hate, or a dire hate. There is no in between. He either hates you or really, really hates you.
This should be titled lust, actually – so let’s just assume love is a complete impossibility for him. He’s only loved one woman in his life, so if you want to rp her, I’ll put up an ad at some point and you can snag her. Otherwise, bang him AF, and don’t call him in the morning. If you expect commitment out of him, the closest he’ll get is to committing himself to your fuck buddy list. Anything more than that, and he’ll just be gone. Like poof. He’s into threesomes, orgies, and all kinds of weird things, so bang the shit out of him, fuck his best friend, fuck the girl he just fucked and he won’t give a shit either way.
Mallory is open to having friends. She’s a party girl; loves to drink and do drugs, so get her one of those and she’ll be your girl for the night. But beware; she is a manipulative little witch, often conning her way into someone’s life, using and abusing them – and then kicking them to the curb once she is done. I mean, real friends are possible, but let’s be honest here, they really should be akin in personality to her. Fake people that often put on masks and act their way into a person’s life: those are the kind of people she goes to when she wants to have fun.
Those that don’t approve of her attitude would probably go here. Cops, too, are bound to be on this list. She has a problem with authority, hates being told what to do or when the word ‘no’ is used against her. Pretty much she has to have her way, so feel free to put her in her place. God, someone needs to. She is far too used to getting her way.
Ooo, yes please. She likes it rough, she likes it kinky, but most of all, she has a lot of fun when she fucks someone. Men – women, it really doesn’t matter with her. She’ll sleep with about anything that moves – so long as they are in humanoid form. She is a good person to call if you just wanna have fun. No commitment required. She likes being that number in a person’s little black book. As far as commitment goes, down the road she might want to settle into something a bit more stable, and a bit more permanent – but that is probably talking years from now. Now she is a 25 year old girl with the world at her fingertips. She is going to have her fun, and cause as much mayhem as possible.
Jon is a guarded individual that is rather difficult to befriend. It’s not impossible, per se, but he does have a proverbial wall that is constantly up due to his history. My best advice if you want to befriend him, you first have to gain his trust. Pretty flowers or money won’t do it, either. You’ll have to give him a reason to give you the time of day. Most of his relationships that he has are business related – but that doesn’t mean he’ll automatically be your friend right out of the gate just because you’re paying him for a job you want him to do. Have his back, take a bullet for him, be honest with him – those are the kinds of things that gain his trust.
Jon is liable to have enemies, not gonna lie. They will probably be business related as well, but Jon can and often does rub people the wrong way. He’s not an overly friendly individual, unless he’s super close with someone, and that someone has to be his friend for quite a long time. If you really want this super merc as your enemy, be my guest: hit him over the head with a beer bottle, slap Ophelia (sorry to throw you under the bus, Oph and Sarah), or generally piss him off, and you’ve got yourself an enemy.
Jon doesn’t really do the whole love thing. There have been several flings over the course of his life, and a lot of one night stands, but that doesn’t mean he has loved very many people in his life. Outside of his family, he’s maybe loved two people. One is here in San Francisco, and the other, long lost to time or whatever force is keeping them apart. Deep down Jon is an old school romantic at heart – he likes to give flowers to the girl he likes, take them on romantic evenings, and just be a super sweet outstanding guy that he rarely shows anyone but those closest to him.
There is one woman, however, that has held his heart since the day he met her, and that is Ophelia Nazzari. He does love her – but he doesn’t know where that love will lead him, if they even have a future together. Now that he’s found her again, he’s going to be a hard one to get close to romantically speaking.
Michael is a kind man through and through. What he is, nor what has happened to him, seems to affect him in the least. He is the kind of man that would help a stranger, and go out of his way to help those closest to him. But being such a caring individual has him at odds with his inner nature. In spite of this, he is the epitome of control, a shining example of what control should be when it comes to being a hybrid.
Anyone who is Ryan’s enemy would be Michael’s enemy, I can assure you. He doesn’t discriminate against other races, and treats most with the respect he’d want to be given, but you can bet all of that goes out the window if someone hurts the pack or his leader. His pack is like family to him, and he’ll defend it with everything in him, right down to his last breath if necessary.
Michael was in love a long time ago, over twenty years ago actually. He married the woman, had a child with her, and lost it all because she had been reckless to make a deal with a demon. While he doesn’t blame her in the least, knowing full well that all she wanted was to make him happy, it does make him more guarded over his heart. He’s a man with the desire to be put back together again, piece by piece, while at the same time he’s too prideful over what he is and too loyal to Ryan to give a shit about his own needs.
